Thanks to everyone that made the trip to Le Circuit Quyon this weekend for the pre-season test and tune sessions! Saturday was quiet due to the inclement weather; however, Sunday was a resounding success with over 20 drivers taking to the track throughout the day. Although initially overcast, by 10am the clouds had parted and most of the day’s activities were held under a sunny blue sky in relatively warm conditions. Racers and mechanics throughout the paddock were working on engines, brakes, and handling adjustments amongst other things – it really had the look and feel of a race weekend, and it looks like several drivers will be racing with new karts this year!
A buzz was definitely in the air, with many racers talking about how excited they are about the start of the season. It has been a long winter, and we are now only one week away from the inaugural race of the 2014 Ottawa-Gatineau Karting Championship!
